A hidden boutique retreat that celebrates an East-West fusion of services and style.
The meticulously manicured tennis courts at the Scottsdale Resort & Athletic Club have long been the shining star of this quiet resort and fitness complex. But as of March 2006, the addition of the Eurasia Spa has cast the spotlight on this boutique retreat. Tucked in the pagoda-shaped complex of guest villas and just steps from the pool, Eurasia Spa welcomes guests with a dainty Zen bridge that leads to a river rock floored entryway. The reception space gives way to a central refreshment area and a meditation room framed by handcrafted shoji doors. Each of the five therapy suites are named after Asian blooms, and each room pays homage to the local community with a custom-made Cosanti Originals bell (the bells are made in support of the Arcosanti Project, an urban laboratory 65 miles north of Phoenix). A separate nail salon with two iJoy pedi-thrones and outdoor patio complete the package.
