With all the hype surrounding eyelash extensions, I had to see what the new phenomenon is all about. I visited Roseann, the owner of the Eyes Are It. Roseann is an eyelash extension expert located in a cozy room nestled inside Scottsdale�s Salon Boutique. Upon my arrival, I kicked off my shoes and climbed into her super-cozy bed. I closed my eyes and Roseann gently placed a foam-like piece of tape over my lower lashes. Then, she feathered through my lashes and glued different sized extensions to each. She also chose pre-curled lashes for the corners of my eyes to give them a more dramatic look. The entire process took about two hours and was completely painless. I literally laid back, relaxed and chatted with Roseann. After each lash was tediously extended and perfectly placed I was finally finished. I opened my eyes, looked in the mirror and admired my new lashes. They were flawless and looked amazing -- without any mascara or makeup! Before I left, Roseann gave me some background education about lash extensions and made sure I knew how to take care of them properly. She explained that if lashes are not pulled out, rolled or excessively rubbed they do not cause damage to the natural lash and will not prematurely fall out. She also told me to keep my lashes clean with a mild cleanser and avoid all oil-based products. With a little TLC, my extensions still look flawless after a week. I have received so many compliments and absolutely love my pretty, long lashes!
