Already a fan of the Scosh skincare and makeup line, Sunny the SpaGirl called on mother-in-law Nancy to check out the new Scosh digs. Nancy's no-nonsense approach to beauty and super sleuth personality made her perfect for the job (plus Sunny can always use mother-in-law points). Here is her report:

As a woman "of a certain age" with a family reunion just weeks away, I needed help. I have never been much of a makeup person but kept hearing about the wonders of mineral makeup and I wanted to try it. But from what I had read, it's loose powder and that only reminded me of the little boxes of powder my mother used and I got into trouble for spilling on everything.

So needless to say, I felt a little intimated about my visit to Scosh. I was also nervous about someone doing my makeup but that feeling flew out the window when I walked into the studio and was met by this sweet, spunky little woman named Kathy. I felt we connected immediately. She knew exactly what I wanted and needed. She made it all sound easy as she talked and showed me how to apply her easy-to-use products. She taught me how to make puffy eyes recede and how to accentuate the positive. I have to admit that before meeting Kathy, I wasn't feeling too positive. And contrary to what I originally thought, mineral foundation also comes in pressed form so no messy loose powder everywhere.

I soon found out that no matter what your age, there is always room for improvement with the right product and someone to teach you how to use it. Scosh makeup is very natural and feels great on my skin. I felt like a new woman when I left and could hardly wait until I got home so I could play with all my new toys. Kathy emphasized how important it is to cleanse your skin, moisturize and wear sun block everyday, especially in Arizona. Each morning when I leave my home, wearing my Scosh, I feel more confident. I guess you could say I am a real Scosh woman.
