In times of conflict, O'otham women and children were sent to Aji, a safe haven in the hills of the Gila River Indian Community. The sanctuary of Aji offered a place high in the world from which you could see great distances with great clarity. It is in this symbolic representation that Aji spa was born.
Aji Spa boasts 17 treatment rooms, a menu full of spa indulgences, full-sized fitness facility, spa pool, five whirlpools and more. All spa treatments include complimentary use, for the day, of the fitness and motion studios, fitness classes, the private indoor and outdoor whirlpools, steam rooms, saunas, spa pool and relaxation lounge with fireplace. Located on the grounds of the Gila River Indian Community, the 500-room resort features a two and one-half mile long river meandering throughout the resort that is used to transport guests to the Whirlwind Golf Club House and nearby Wild Horse Pass Casino.
